My Story
Hi, I’m Joycelyn, also known as Mickey, the owner of Mickey Elaiho Photography, specializing in Business Headshots and Family Portraits.
My journey into photography stems from a deep love for preserving memories. As a United States Air Force veteran and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of documenting family events around the world. Photography has always been more than just a passion—it’s my way of capturing life’s fleeting moments and turning them into something tangible. I believe in the power of a photograph to connect us to our past, our loved ones, and the stories that shape who we are. My passion for photography is fueled by my own family which has given me a profound appreciation for the importance of preserving those irreplaceable memories.
I’m committed to helping people see the very best version of themselves, whether through the professional lens of business headshots or the warmth of family portraits. Every photograph is an opportunity to create something lasting, something meaningful, and that’s what I love sharing with my clients.
During my Air Force career, San Antonio, Texas, was my first, middle, and final assignment. When it came time to retire, Texas had won my heart so we proudly call it home.
