My Story
Hi,
I’m Joycelyn, also known as Mickey, the owner of Mickey Elaiho Photography, specializing in fine art portraits, professional headshots, and event photo booth experiences.
My journey into photography stems from a deep love for preserving memories. As a United States Air Force veteran and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I’ve had the privilege of documenting family events around the world. Photography has always been more than just a passion — it’s my way of capturing life’s fleeting moments and turning them into something tangible. I believe in the power of a photograph to connect us to our past, our loved ones, and the stories that shape who we are.
Over the years, my passion for photography has expanded beyond portraits. Today, I not only create timeless family portraits and empowering headshots, but I also bring fun, interactive photo booth experiences and roaming event coverage to celebrations. This allows me to serve clients in both personal and professional milestones — from the boardroom to the dance floor.
I’m committed to helping people see the very best version of themselves, whether through the professional lens of a business headshot, the warmth of a family portrait, or the joy of an event photo booth. Every photograph is an opportunity to create something lasting, something meaningful — and that’s what I love sharing with my clients.
During my Air Force career, San Antonio, Texas, was my first, middle, and final assignment. When it came time to retire, Texas had won my heart, so we proudly call it home.
