What sets us apart from many photographers is our intentional process. We carefully plan your session to ensure you receive exactly what you envisioned. Rather than taking random images and hoping you’ll like them, we begin with the end in mind—focusing on capturing the moments that matter most to you.
Design Consultation
Everything starts with an initial consultation, where I take the time to get to know you and your family. We’ll talk about what makes your family unique, the relationships between members, and the reason behind your session. Are you celebrating a special event or milestone? A new addition to the family? Perhaps one of your kids is heading off to college? These personal details help me better capture the true essence of your family.
We’ll also discuss wardrobe, location, and the goals for your final portraits. Where will these images be displayed in your home? Take me on a walk through your home and we can choose the perfect spot for your family portraits. Many families also opt for an album to tell the full story of their occasion.
Photo Session
We know, everything leading up to this point might have been stressful... but we'll take it from here! You made it! It's your chance to relax and enjoy the experience! Your portraits will reflect the genuine moments with your loved ones. We’ll capture both classic, posed shots and those fun, spontaneous moments in between.
Ordering Appointment
We will review and finalize the images you love together typically about one week after the photo session. Since we’ve already discussed your vision during the consultation, you won’t feel overwhelmed—I’ll have narrowed the images down to a manageable selection. I’m here to guide you through the process, and with my specialized software, we can preview how different products and sizes will look on your walls.
This appointment is where we finalize your portrait order. Make sure you've scheduled a time when both mom and dad can be there
Delivery & Installation
For wall portrait orders, we take care of the delivery and installation for you. Since we’ve already finalized the perfect location. We’ll schedule a convenient installation date approximately 8-10 weeks after the order is placed. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy your beautiful new portraits!
Investment
Mickey Elaiho Photography is dedicated to delivering a highly personalized, full-service experience tailored to your unique needs. From the initial consultation to the final product hanging on your walls, every detail is customized to ensure your vision is brought to life. Because our products are specially made for you, final pricing is determined by your final selections.
Studio Session
Our weekday studio session Fee is $1200 which is collected at the time of booking.
It includes:
- A product credit of $600 which may be used towards any fine art purchase during your Ordering Appointment
- Consultation Appointment
- Photography Session
- Professional edit of your portrait session
- Custom design options for your walls/albums
- Ordering Session to finalize the selection of portraits for your walls and albums for your home
- Permanently archiving of your purchased images
- Installation of your wall art on the walls of your home
Weekend sessions: (Saturday, Sunday) are $2400 and includes $1200 product credit towards any fine art purchase

- Custom Framed Wall Portraits start at $800
- Custom designed Albums start at $2800
- Gift prints (Matted & signed 8X10 or smaller) $250 each are available as an add-on to any portrait order
- Custom Holiday Cards are available as an add-on to any portrait order

- Canvas gallery collections - we offer 4 different collections of canvas gallery wraps. These are a hugely popular choice for family portraits! You'll see examples with your own family portraits when we review the images together.
- Custom Albums - no wall space? An album is the perfect way to tell your family's story and preserve your family portraits. Albums are an excellent way to enjoy your family memories.
- Gift prints - these prints are perfect for the desk, bookcase, and don't forget about Grandma! Prints are mounted to styrene for strength and longevity.
- Holiday Cards - celebrate the holidays with a beautiful card for friends and family! Getting an actual card in the mail with your family's image is a great way to celebrate the holiday.
